Opera for Ballet, Vol. 1 is Steven’s newest music book which is arranged for ballet class. 30 pieces divided by duple meter and triple meter, from slow to quick, are all melodies from opera repertoire. Pieces are  by composers Verdi, Bellini, R Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Rossini and others.  New pianists for ballet will find this book very helpful as the  introductions are built into the beginning of the exercises. They are  evenly measured into 8 count phrases, and have all been tried and  perfected in my ballet classes at the Metropolitan Opera.
