When I began Danceables Records in 2002, I never thought I’d have recorded over a dozen albums that would be released in print, on streaming, and on something called an “app”. It seems unimaginable to think that a piano student from rural Pennsylvania would eventually have such an outreach. My albums have been used by teachers and dancers all over the world. In addition to recordings, I’ve carefully assembled a selection of music books for pianists who accompany ballet class, as well as a collection of full-length ballet scores. All of this is available to you here at Balletrax.
Balletrax and Danceables Records are both my offerings to dancers and dance teachers worldwide. If you’re here as a pianist, you’ll find printed music specifically arranged for ballet class; you’ll also find the Anna Marie Holmes library of classical ballet scores to be used for variations classes or company rehearsals. The Balletrax App for Mac and iOS is available for teachers who want to organize my class music tracks how they would prefer, also including music for variations classes, a tempo slider, and original albums that aren’t available on any other platform.
